Who is the employer?

An employer could be a company, MSME, or sole trader who requires the candidate for professional tasks or home services.

How can the employer access the platform?

Simply register as an employer with gig jobs India and you can access the platform.

How can an employer hire a gig candidate?

There are plenty of ways to hire a gig candidate: 

  • Contact with the customer care via call/text/e-mail/WhatsApp.
  • Via mobile app you can search the profiles of candidates and can select the suitable best candidate to work with you by simply sending an invitation.
  • Post the gig task with the help of a mobile app either with text, audio, or video.
How can I pay confidently?

Once the gig task is allotted to the candidate and the confirmation is made between both parties, the employer should pay the agreed amount to Gig Jobs India. Though you paid in advance, the amount will be released to the candidate once the task is completed.

How can I cancel the gig task?

Employers can cancel the gig task by contacting customer care via call/text/e-      mail/WhatsApp by providing task details. You can also cancel the gig task using the mobile app.

Cancellation charges are applicable.

No assignment or within 5 minutes of posting:No charge

Cancellation over 24 hours before:No charge

Cancellation 12-24 hours before:10% charge

Cancellation 6-12 hours before:20% charge

Cancellation 3-6 hours before:40% charge

Cancellation 2-3 hours before:60% charge

Cancellation <2 hour before (gig < 4 hours):100% charge

Cancellation <2 hour before (gig> 4 hours):85% charge

How can I confirm whether the candidate who came to work is the actually selected candidate?

The employer must double verify the candidate details with a couple of ways:

  • Employer will verify the check-in code shared by the candidate prior to the starting of the gig task. If the check-in code matches,it indicates the right person
  • Employer can view the profile photo of the candidate in the mobile app and can cross-verify it.
  • Employer can verify the candidate with any of the photo identity proofs approved by Indian government.
What if the candidate didn’t turn up to the gig task?

In most scenarios, this will not happen. But if the candidate does not turn up, please get in touch with our customer care department. We will check with the candidate whether he/she is running late with a valid reason. Unfortunately, if the candidate is not attending to the gig we will try to replace with another candidate.
